Do you sell my personal information?
No, never. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason. This is a core principle we will never compromise on.
How can I delete my account and data?
Email privacy@mirrortone-academy.com or use your account settings. We’ll delete all personal data within 30 days (except legally required financial records kept for 7 years).
What data do you collect?
Only what’s necessary: name, email, purchase history, learning progress, and technical data for site functionality. See Section 3 for complete details.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. We don’t store full credit card numbers. All payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) using bank-level encryption.
Can I opt out of marketing emails?
Absolutely. Click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any marketing email, or update preferences in your account settings. You’ll still receive essential transactional emails (receipts, course access).
Do you use cookies?
Yes, but you control them. Essential cookies are required for functionality. Optional cookies (analytics, ads) can be disabled through our Cookie Consent banner. See Section 12 for details.
Where is my data stored?
Primarily in Japan (CoreServer V2) with enterprise-grade security. Some services (payment processors, analytics) may process data in other countries under strict data protection agreements.
How long do you keep my data?
Active customers: Account lifetime + 7 years. Prospective customers: 2 years from last interaction. Financial records: 7 years (legal requirement). You can request earlier deletion anytime. See Section 10 for full details.
